Some prominent theatre conferences and organizations are listed below. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but it should
get you started. In addition to these resources, you may also try searching the web for "theatre conferences."
Additional associations can be found in the library at the Main Reference Desk. For instance, check out: Encyclopedia of Associations. Detroit: Gale Research Company, 1961-present. (Search for both theatre and theater)
Publishing in Theatre and Performance Studies
The library offers access to Ulrich's International Periodicals Directory. You can search this online database for journals based on subject, title, keyword, etc. The listing also will tell you if
the journal is still active, whether the submissions are refereed, and where/how to contact the journal. This database is
not available off-campus.
The following website offers a long list of theatre journals. It is not exhaustive, but it does include some journals from
