Content Description: Photographs and notes about historic buildings in Ohio. These buildings were listed in the Historic American Building Survey of the U.S. Department of the Interior before 1980. The record for each building surveyed will have black and white photographs (both interior and exterior shots), a brief written history, location, description and sometimes floor plans. Buildings that were listed in the Survey after 1979 are not included in this collection. Some text is so faint that it is unreadable.

4) Ohio Historic Preservation Office National Register. A searchable database of all Ohio listings on the National Register of Historic Places. Produced by the Ohio Historical Society, this includes the buildings in the microfiche collection plus buildings that were listed after 1979. Entries include descriptions, locations, and in a few cases, photographs.
5) Searching HABS/HAER Collection. A searchable database, from the Library of Congress, of the records in the Historic American Buildlings Survey/Historic American Engineering Record. Includes descriptions, photographs, and floor plans for structures.
