Major players in the Congress included: Prince Klemens von Metternich, Tsar Alexander I, Prince Karl August von Hardenberg, Lord Castlereagh, the Duke of Wellington, and Charles Maurice de Talleyrand. The work is comprised of the acts and proceedings of the Congress, in eight volumes.
