ActivitiesAuthors and Artists RecognitionsThe Friends of the University Libraries is an organization that supports the programs and activities of the University Libraries, archives, and special collections. Membership in The Friends is voluntary and open to all interested individuals.
Guiding Principle for Authors and Artists RecognitionsThe scholarly and creative achievements of active and retired Bowling Green State University faculty and staff extend the bodies of knowledge in academic disciplines, contribute to the culture, and enhance the reputation of the University. As their partner in these endeavors, the University Libraries hosts an annual reception during which these scholarly and creative achievements are recognized. PurposeThe purpose of the Authors and Artists Recognition Reception is to publicly express appreciation to BGSU authors and artists for their important contributions to their disciplines, the culture, and the University.
