Microcards, Microfiche, Microfilm
Microcards, microfiche, and microfilm are known collectively as microforms. Library materials in these formats can be found throughout the BGSU Libraries. An advantage to having materials in microformats is space conservation. These formats, together with their locations, are clearly labeled in the BGSU Libraries Catalog. A large concentration of microforms are kept behind the Periodicals Desk on the 1st floor of the Main Library (Jerome) with reader/printers close by. For assistance with microforms ask at the Periodicals Desk.
Research Collections on Microform is an online guide to the major research collections available in microformats in the BGSU Libraries. Browse the lists of collections by subject, time period, by language, or alphabetically. Each collection's record has a title, location, content description, arrangement, subject category, index/bibliography, and much more.
Microforms are also available in the Science
Library, Main Government
Documents, The
Browne Popular Culture Library, Center
for Archival Collections, and the Historical
Collections of the Great Lakes.
