Colleen Boff

About
Colleen earned her B.A. in English from University of Toledo and her M.L.S. from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She is currently enrolled part-time in the Leadership Studies doctoral program at Bowling Green State University. She spent four years working as a law librarian at the University of Toledo Law School and came to BGSU as the First Year Experience Librarian in 1999. She became Interim Associate Dean in August, 2011.
Her research interests vary but emphasis is on the integration of information literacy in the first year college curriculum. Colleen has authored a number of book chapters, several peer-reviewed journal articles, conference proceedings, and book reviews. She is currently working on a book about the library instruction in the first year with ACRL and the National Resource Center for the First Year Experience and Students in Transition.
