Alumni and friends of the College of Health and Human Services have responded positively to requests from BGSU student callers
who ask for their support of the College. Funds raised during the 2008 College Telefund increased by more than 16 percent
from 2007.
The College also reported another increase in fund raising during the past year. More faculty and staff of the College gave
this year to the University’s own Family Campaign, which asks members of the University community to participate in the annual
fund-raising effort. This year 69 percent of the faculty and staff within the College participated in the 2007-08 Family Campaign.
The College’s participation rate has jumped from 40 percent in 2004-05 to 69 percent this past year.
All of these funds are also counted as part of Building Dreams: The Centennial Campaign for Bowling Green State University, which has raised $135.5 million since it started in 2002, already surpassing the $120 million goal. Alumni and friends have
until Dec. 31, 2008 to make a donation and be a part of the campaign.
