Gary Fahle '86 - Gary Fahle has worked for nearly 17 years at the National Institutes of Health, CCDLM, Microbiology Services in Bethesda, most recently as research medical technologist. He previously was a microbiology medical technologist at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. He is a certified Medical Technologist (M.T.) and a Specialist in Microbiology (S.M.) He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, the American Society for Microbiology. He has co-authored more than 20 publications and been involved in numerous professional presentations. Fahle has a patent related to work performed on LiPA assay for mycobacteria.

Linda Hood '69 - Linda Hood is known nationwide for her work in hearing and speech. Since 1987, she has served as director/scientific director of the Cochlear Implant Program at Louisiana State University Medical Center and Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital in New Orleans. She also has academic appointments as an adjunct professor and faculty member at LSU, Vanderbilt University and Central Michigan University. Previously she had been a research audiologist and a National Institutes of Health post-doctoral fellow at the Kresge Hearing Research Laboratory of the South. She started her career as a speech and hearing therapist in the Willoughby, Ohio schools and then held several audiologist positions in Ohio, Florida, Kentucky and Maryland before working at LSU Medical Center. She has been involved in many scientific review study sections and working groups for the National Institutes of Health's National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders. In 2002, she was awarded a Research Achievement Award by the American Academy of Audiology. She has held leadership positions in professional organizations at the state and national level including serving as president of the American Academy of Audiology and as member of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Ear, Nose and Throat Devices Panel. Civic activities included serving as a board member for The Little School preschool program in Metairie, La., and the Chinchuba Institute in New Orleans. She has written extensively as author and co-author of refereed journals, books, chapters, review articles and abstracts. In addition to her bachelor's degree from BGSU, she earned a master's degree in audiology from Kent State University in a doctoral degree in hearing science from University of Maryland.

Richard Nedelkoff '80 - Richard Nedelkoff has spent 25 years in criminal justice and public safety. In 2003, he was named president of Riga Solutions Group Inc., a national company that helps create solutions to federal, state and local government in public safety and human services. Prior to his current position, he was nominated by the President and confirmed by the U.S. Senate to be the director of the U.S. Department of Justice's Bureau of Justice Assistance. He also was executive director of the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division in Austin and worked in several agencies in Florida, Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio. In addition to his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from BGSU, he earned a master's degree in administration of justice from University of Louisville, and a juris doctor degree from Capital University Law School. Nedelkoff, who has been inducted into the National Criminal Justice Honor Society, has received numerous honors and awards, including the Child Advocate Award from the Texas CASA Organization, Who's Who Among American Law Students, a distinguished service award from the Florida Council on Crime and Delinquency and the Bert Ford Commendation Award for collaboration and initiatives to help combat underage drinking. He is a noted speaker for conferences and an expert spokesperson with the media.
