Advising Appointments

Students can schedule an advising appointment via successNet. When using this system, it is imperative that students know which advisor with whom they should meet.

NEW ADVISING APPOINTMENT SYSTEM!

To set up an appointment to meet with your college academic advisor from The College of Health and Human Services:

1. Log-on to MyBGSU and click on successNET in orange lettering within the thick black band near the top of the MyBGSU page.
2. Once logged-in to successNET, click on Success Network at the top of your dashboard, and then search for The College of Health and Human Services.
3. Scroll down to locate your advisor and schedule your appointment during available hours.

You’ll receive an email confirmation of your appointment details, including the date, time and location of your meeting.

If you have difficulty using successNet, please call the office at 419-372-8242 for assistance with scheduling an advising appointment.

Our advising staff includes:

Tom Gorman - Assistant  Dean and Director of Student Advising Center - Allied Health, Applied Microbiology, Medical  Laboratory Science

Eric Gullufsen  - Nursing Program Coordinator - Nursing majors

Deborah Hendricks  - Academic Advisor - Applied Health Science and Undecided majors 

Elsa Arteaga - First and second year Nursing, Gerontology and Undecided majors

Tyler Diekhaus - Pre-Communication Science Disorders majors

Chelsea Greene - Pre-Social Work, Health Care Administration, first-year Medical Laboratory Science

Jayme Jones - First and second year Criminal justice majors

Upperclassmen may meet with any of the above college advisors, but are also encouraged to meet with their faculty advisor.
