The Praxis Series tests are currently required for teacher licensure in 39 states and U.S. jurisdictions. These tests are also used by several professional licensing agencies and by several hundred colleges and universities. Because The Praxis Series tests are used to license teachers in many states, teacher candidates can test in one state and submit their scores for licensure in any other Praxis user state.
