Delta Pi Epsilon - Beta Eta Chapter


Delta Pi Epsilon (DPE) is a national graduate honorary society for professionals who support and promote scholarship, leadership, and cooperation toward the advancement of education for and about business.  The chapter at Bowling Green State University is called Beta Eta and was established in 1971. 

The ideas of the Society as symbolized in the name of the organization are:

* Scholarship (Delta -- the search for accurate knowledge)
* Leadership (Pi -- true leadership)
* Cooperation (Epsilon -- unity of purpose and effort)

The organization strives for these ideals by seeking the following objectives:

1. To improve business education through research;
2. To encourage research;
3. To recognize exceptional research achievement;
4. To publicize research in business education

DPE Membership Eligibility Requirements

DPE is comprised of individual contributors in the field of business education.  New members are initiated into the Beta Eta Chapter every spring.  New members must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and have completed at least nine semester graduate hours with at least a 3.5 accumulative grade point average in all graduate work.  All incompletes must be removed from the student's record.
