Research Interests
I Investigating the reciprocal nature of speech.
Language, phonemic awareness, spelling, reading, and writing.
Closing the achievement gap in low SES at-risk students
Preventing environmentally induced learning
disabilities and ameliorating genetic ones.
Connecting the most recent fMRI imaging research with
the learning theories of Piaget, Vygotsky, B.F. Skinner, and
Bruner.
