Master of Education in Special Education
The Assistive Technology master’s program prepares teachers and other professionals to support individuals with disabilities by using assistive and educational technologies. Candidates will develop the skills needed to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, parents, teachers, professionals, and school districts to introduce assistive technologies into multiple environments. This fully online program can be completed in a minimum of 33 semester hours. Five core courses in assistive technology provide the foundation for the program. Program completers earn a M.Ed. in Special Education with a Specialization in Assistive Technology.
