Source Material: An electronic file provided by The Ohio Department of Education (ODE) that contains the following information for each candidate assessed under the Praxis III criteria for the most recent academic year:

• Candidate name
• School district in which assessed
• School building in which assessed
• Pass/failure of assessment
• Overall assessment score
• Assessment score for each Pathwise domain
• Assessment score for each Pathwise domain component
• Subject taught by candidate

The individuals listed in the electronic file are first year teachers in Ohio schools who participated in the Praxis III assessment in the given academic year and who self-reported BGSU as the institution where they received their relevant training.

EDHD Report Content: The Praxis III Report includes:

• Assessment Criteria Legend showing the Pathwise domains, the components that make up each Pathwise domain and a brief description of each component within the domains.
• Summary Sheet showing each BGSU program in which a former student participated in the Praxis III assessment. The former students are aggregated by BGSU program and show an overall score, and a score for each Pathwise domain. It also shows the number of former students in each program who participated in the Praxis III assessment in the give academic year. For comparative purposes, the average BGSU scores are shown (overall and by domain) and compared to the previous year average BGSU scores. The required passing score and the maximum attainable score is also reported.
• Overall Highlight Sheet showing the pass rates overall and by Pathwise domain. This sheet also examines the strength and weakness by Pathwise domains compared to each other and compared to the previous year.
• Highlights Within Programs ranking the Pathwise domains (strongest to weakest) for each BGSU program in which at least 5 former students participated in the Praxis III assessment.
• Program Highlights By Domain ranking the programs relative to each other based on their score for that particular domain. The programs are ranked by overall score and by the scores for each of the four Pathwise domains. At least 5 students from that program must have participated in the Praxis III assessment to be included in this sheet.
• Program Highlights which contains the information provided in the previous two sheets but each sheet only contains the information for one individual program. Not all programs are listed on this sheet as in the previous two sheets.
