America Reads is a government-funded program in which Bowling Green State University participates. Undergraduate students with financial aid work-study status can apply to provide tutoring assistance to children within predetermined public schools.

Literacy Serve and Learn
Literacy Serve and Learn is a one-credit hour course selected by most undergraduates to fulfill practicum hours for EDHD 201. The program provides one-on-one tutoring by university undergraduates to enhance the academic performance of students in the Toledo Public Schools.
