Objectives/Purpose:
Understanding of probability
Co-operative partner work
Using a talley sheet

Materials:
Dice for each pair of students
Probability worksheet

Description of Activity:
Each pair of students has a die and probability worksheet. One student tosses the die and the other records on the talley sheet what was rolled. This is repeated 50 times. At the end of the 50 tosses, the probability is determined. Based on what they "discovered" with their tosses, they are to predict what number they will roll next.
