MASTER OF EDUCATION IN CLASSROOM TECHNOLOGY
Costs and Waivers

Continuing and Extended Education supports the Classroom Technology off-campus program by providing fee waivers to all cohort students who participate in an off-campus cohort.

How much does it cost? Is there any financial assistance available?

(Note: Fees are subject to change. Fee changes usually go into effect in the Fall semester.)

For Spring 2008 instructional fees for courses taken off campus are $481 per credit hour. Iinstructional fees for courses taken on campus or via web-based/distance learning are $535 per credit hour. Each cohort usually has two to four web-based courses in its course sequence. Additionally, a registration fee of $8 is charged per semester, and students will need to purchase textbooks.

All eleven courses in the program are three-credit courses, so the program is a 33 credit-hour program. That totals approximately $15,960-17,740 for instructional fees for the full on-campus program at the current rate. This is before the fee waiver.

1/3 Fee Waiver

For students participating in the off-campus Classroom Technology program, one-third of the instructional fees will be waived for each course taken with the assigned cohort. Students will pay instructional fees for only two credit hours; Continuing and Extended Education will pay for the third credit hour. Therefore, instructional fees a students pays for the full program will be approximately $10,670 - $11,860 at the current rates, a savings of approximately $5,290-$5,580.
