Application / Registration
 

To being the process of becoming a member of a cohort:

1. Please contact the program director before completing any of the application/registration forms.

2. Now that you have had contact with the program director please print out and complete the following forms:

3. Please attach these forms to a copy of your transcript, showing your highest degree and mail or fax to:

*The graduate course registration form will enroll you in your first course. You need only complete the contact and personal information; registration staff will fill in the appropriate course information based on your chosen cohort location.

4. Complete the Electronic Application to the Graduate College.

You must provide official transcripts to the Graduate College

5. Send GRE Scores to the Graduate College. Test scores cannot be more than five years old. If you do not have any test scores, arrange to take the GRE at www.gre.org.

6. Applicants must have one year of teaching experience in a school setting. Prospective students without teaching experience may be considered; however, a rationale will need to be provided by the student as to why we should consider their application, and the faculty committee will also interview the prospective student.

7. A recommendation regarding your admissibility will be made by the Graduate College within 30 days after you have completed the above program application procedures. You must complete the application process and be accepted into the program before completing nine (9) semester hours of course work. Please complete all application procedures for admission to the EALS Master’s degree program in a timely fashion. A review of incomplete applications is made quarterly and your file will be withdrawn from active application status if you do not complete the admission procedures within 90 days of your initial application.
