Teaching and Learning Democracy IDEI faculty associates work with their counterparts in the US and around the globe to improve the teaching and learning about
democracy. IDEI conducts projects that develop innovative curriculum, in-service and pre-service teacher education programs,
research, student activities and educator exchanges to promote democratic citizenship.
Through these projects IDEI faculty connect school teachers, university faculty and others educators from the US with colleagues
in emerging democracies to further the development and understanding of democratic education in all societies.
