FCS 470: Program Development for Youth
This course is being developed at the request of the BG Teen Center task force. Students will gain practical experience working with youth in Bowling Green's new Teen Center.  This course focuses on developmental needs of youth and the importance of asset building.  Learn about developing programs and activities that address youth's specific needs and interests.  This course has a Service Learning component.
 
This course is expected to include one 4-hour work session at the Teen Center per week, one two-hour weekly class session, as well as regular online participation.

Before you are able to register for this course, you will need to fill out an application.  Those selected for the course will also be asked to submit to a background check.  Please return your application to Leslie Straka's mailbox in 206 Johnston Hall (the mailroom) by August 8.
