Permits a child who is less than 18 years of age to file a petition for a protection order on the child's own behalf and permits
any person who is 18 years of age or older to file a petition for a protection order on behalf of a child, upon the child's
request.
Requires a petition for a protection order against a respondent who is a minor to be filed in the juvenile division of the
court of common pleas in the county in which the person to be protected resides.
