Additional Information:
Prior to beginning doctoral studies, Dr. Ingle was employed by the Jackson County (Mississippi) School District where he served as a social studies teacher, department chair, program coordinator, and member of the school’s leadership team.

In addition to undergraduate teaching and administrative duties at FSU, Dr. Ingle also served as a research assistant to Dr. Douglas N. Harris (now at the University of Wisconsin-Madison), who led a team of researchers investigating teacher quality and principal hiring practices. The project, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, utilizes extensive education data collected by the State of Florida, and interviews with school principals. The research is ongoing and Dr. Ingle continues to participate in the research and manuscript submissions.

Dr. Ingle currently serves as co-editor of the Politics of Education Association Bulletin.

Dr. Ingle and his wife, Cynthia, have been married since 1997.
