The Institute for Child and Family Policy at Bowling Green State University

The Bowling Green State University Institute for Child and Family Policy (ICFP) represents the first program in Ohio aimed at providing explicit, non-partisan child and family policy research, analysis, and recommendations to legislators, legislative staff, state agency personnel, local policymakers and education and social service professionals throughout the state. The Institute aims to strengthen connections between research, child and family policy, and best practice models in Ohio through non-partisan summaries of topical family and child research, insightful policy analysis, program evaluation research, and community demographic profiles. Attention will be primarily directed to three key domains in a child’s life: schools, families, and communities.
