Kinesiology Club & University Dance Alliance |
 |
|
|
Student majors in the Kinesiology Division have the opportunity to join the Kinesiology Club and the University Dance Alliance, the Division's two active professional and social student organizations.
The Kinesiology Club was formed in 1994 from the alliance of three national physical education or exercise science honorary
societies, Phi Epsilon Kappa, Delta Psi Kappa, and Omicron Omega. Students meet monthly to plan and participate in sport and
recreational activities, hear professional speakers, and to assist the Kinesiology Division with service needs. Members of
the Kinesiology Club also can affiliate with any of the national honorary societies which they choose. Each society offers
membership benefits such as periodical publications, newsletters, and other professional services. Students interested in
joining the Kinesiology Club or one of its national societies should contact the Kinesiology Division secretary for meeting
times, upcoming events, and other information.
The University Dance Alliance is the student dance organization which promotes a variety of dance activities at BGSU such as master classes, lecture/demonstrations,
and the annual Dance Showcase. Interested students should contact the Kinesiology Division secretary or Professor Deborah
Tell, dance coordinator.
