Vision/Mission
The Kinesiology Division aspires to be the academic leader in Ohio in
the study of the art and science of human movement in the 21st
Century. The Kinesiology Division is dedicated to the study of the
art and science of human movement through its disciplinary,
professional, and performance dimensions. To achieve our mission,
the Kinesiology Division offers academic programs that prepare
individuals who will impart knowledge and skill of human movement and
who can promote human well-being. These programs provide
intellectual inquiry that is grounded in theoretical and experimental
knowledge integrated across the subdisciplines of human movement.
Our programs bring a functional blend of theoretical understandings,
creative explorations, professional skills, and critical
consciousness to our study of human movement.
