In concert with the College of Education and Human Development, we foster a dynamic community of lifelong learners and leaders. We are committed to the creation, enhancement, and dissemination of knowledge in the fields of human movement, sport, and leisure. As agents of change, we strive to fulfill this commitment through exemplary scholarship, creative endeavors, teaching, and service. The School of HMSLS encourages academic excellence, the integration of academic disciplines, and a quest for social justice that is based on a knowledge and appreciation of human diversity.

The School of HMSLS is multidisciplinary and includes two Divisions: The Kinesiology Division and the Sport Management, Recreation, and Tourism Division.
