About ALF
The College Student Personnel Program/Adult
Learner Focus prepares professionals to work with college
students from ages 18 to 80 and beyond. This
program focuses on "adult
learners," who are typically defined as students who are 25 and over and/or students who have children, full-time jobs, or other adult responsibilities. Nationwide, almost half of today's college students are adult learners.
The program provides preparation for a broad array of
professional positions in colleges and universities:
- Admissions and Orientation
- Enrollment Services
- Academic Advising and Career Development
- Commuter and Adult Learner Services
- Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning
Coursework and salaried internships are completed
concurrently and provide direct experiences in working
with all learners. |
 |
