Student development, especially concerning identity integration and the role of spirituality in identity development; the historical experience of African Americans in higher education through oral narrative; sectarian higher education.

Exploration of multiple identity intersectionality among students of color at both predominantly White and historically Black institutions.  Supported by a grant from the American College Personnel Association Emerging Scholars program.
