Core
course requirements in nutrition sciences feature human nutrition and food
science. Supporting discipline courses highlight biology, biochemistry,
chemistry, microbiology, statistics, mathematics, physics and physiology.
Contained within the nutrition sciences program requirements (134 total hours),
students will also receive minors in both biology and chemistry. This major
may require nine semesters to complete.
Dietetic majors interested in graduate school or research careers may choose
to double major in dietetics and nutrition sciences.
