ADVISING
Faculty and professional advisors are committed to helping all students
succeed. Students in the graduate program receive advising from food and
nutrition faculty.
DEGREE
The
graduate Food and Nutrition program is completed in two years and will
result in
a Master
of Family
and Consumer
Sciences
degree with a specialization
in Food and Nutrition.
SERVICES AND RESOURCES
The Graduate program is housed primarily in the Family and Consumer Sciences
Building, though most faculty offices are in Johnston Hall.
Opportunities are available for students to interact and conduct research
with professionals in the field and related disciplines, such as faculty
in the departments of biology and chemistry at BGSU, faculty at the Medical
College of Ohio, and professionals working in community/public/clinical
nutrition and the food industry. Students have also interacted with community
agencies through partnership grants awarded to faculty.
