Students in Action Featured Works

• Student athlete and dietetics major Megan Kelsey has created the Student-Athlete Nutritional Handbook.  The handbook has been approved by members of the sports medicine team and serves as a resource for all student athletes on campus.  
  
  
• Dietetics major Jiilian Urig presented at the Ohio Dietetic Association's Annual Conference on April 9, 2010.  Jillian's abstract titled Nine Northwest Ohio School Districts Fail to Meet School Lunch Standards with Low Socioeconomic Districts the Most Deficient was awarded the Student Research Award.  Jilian also presented this research at Posters at the Capitol, an event put on by the Center for Undergraduate Research and Scholarship on April 15, 2010.
