Internship Program in Nutrition and Dietetics

Current Interns

Welcome to the Bowling Green State University Internship Program in Nutrition and Dietetics.   BGSU operates on a semester system, composed of two 16-week semesters beginning in late August and ending in early May. See the on-line academic calendar for specific dates. The internship will continue through summer session I and part of summer session II. The program is designed so that the required supervised practice hours are completed in 32 weeks, beginning in January. This does not include any weeks off, including spring break. Interns can include a one week break, if desired, but will add an additional week to the end of the program. (See the appropriate dietetic internship handbook for more details.)

Interns in the distance program will attend a one-week orientation on campus in August - the week before the semester begins. The following timetable provides an overview of the steps you must complete prior to beginning the dietetic internship in the fall.
