Option 1

Students are responsible for 4 semesters of tuition at the graduate level as a full time student and one summer session along with the additional fees and miscellaneous costs described below.

Option 2

Students are responsible for a total of 15 credits at the graduate level along with the additional fees and miscellaneous costs described below.

Financial Aid

If you choose option 1, you are eligible for a graduate assistantship. Graduate assistants are paid a stipend of $4393 per academic year for a 10 hour/week contracted hour commitment.   Graduate assistants also receive 10% discount at the University Bookstore. You must have a GPA of 3.0 to be eligible.  Please contact Dr. Dawn Anderson, Graduate Coordinator, regarding tuition scholarships.

Students who choose Option 2 and are accepted into the Graduate Certificate in Food and Nutrition program are eligible for financial aid. Being enrolled in the internship in of itself does not confer eligibility, but since it is tied to the Graduate Certificate, financial aid is available. Students enrolled at least half time (4 graduate credit hours) who demonstrate financial need are eligible for William D. Ford Federal Direct Subsidized Loans. William D. Ford Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans are also available. Federal Perkins Loans are available to students enrolled at least half time who demonstrate financial need and meet other institutionally defined award criteria.
