Admission Requirements To be eligible for this program, you must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, meet the DPD
requirements of the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education and have relevant work or volunteer experience. You
must participate in the computer matching process and take the GRE general test. You are encouraged to apply for a graduate
assistantship. Information regarding assistantships and financial aid can be found on the projected cost to student page.
Schedule Year 1: Fall Semester Introduction to Dietetic Internship (includes 10 hours per week supervised practice hours) Clinical Nutrition Macronutrients or Micronutrients (offered alternating years) Research Methods 10 - 12 graduate credits
Spring Semester Dietetic Internship I (includes 32 hours per week supervised practice hours) Community Nutrition Readings in Food and Nutrition Seminar 7 – 12 graduate credits
Summer Session Dietetic Internship II (includes 40 hours per week supervised practice hours) Topics in Food and Nutrition 4 - 7 graduate credits
Schedule Year 2: Fall Semester Macronutrients or Micronutrients Statistics Cognate Thesis 12 graduate credits
Spring Semester Cognate Thesis 12 graduate credits
