Outstanding Seniors
Each year the AMPD faculty members select a student to receive the AMPD Outstanding Senior Award.  Criteria include high academic achievement, professionalism, leadership, and participation in program, school, university, community, or career- related activities.

This year five students were considered for the award.  We consider all five of the students as excellent, and selected Elly Sankovich as the Outstanding AMPD Senior for 2011-12.

Elly Sankovich, AMPD Outstanding Senior - In addition to maintaining high grades, Elly completed two summer internship experiences, works in the Costume Shop on campus, and has held several leadership positions, including serving as President, in her sorority.  Additionally, she served on the Philhellenic Council at BGSU and was on the Steering Committee for Dance Marathon.

Annslee DeLuca, AMPD Outstanding Senior Nominee - In addition to maintaining high grades, Annslee completed several work experiences including a summer internship at Kohl’s and two internships in New York while studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology.  Annslee recently accepted a position at Kohl’s Corporate in Wisconsin.

Abigail Dennstedt, AMPD Outstanding Senior Nominee - In addition to maintaining high grades, Abby gained professional experience working in the apparel retailing industry and volunteering to assist with the Merchants of 25 Fashion Show in BG.

Ashlee Jackson, AMPD Outstanding Senior Nominee - In addition to maintaining high grades, Ashlee gained professional experience working for several different apparel retailers, and has worked on campus in the President’s Leadership Academy.

Katherine Womack, AMPD Outstanding Senior Nominee - In addition to maintaining high grades, Katie gained professional experience working in apparel retailing and marketing.  Additionally she was a member of the BGSU swim team and coaches young swimmers.
