Apparel Merchandising and Product Development
Welcome!
In Apparel Merchandising and Product Development students learn to select apparel based on quality, style, and performance. Merchandising strategies include planning, buying, displaying, and selling techniques. Product development involves developing private label items starting with customer profiles, trend analysis, fabric and color selection, style drawings, and presentation of product lines. Designers, merchandisers, and manufacturers work as a team in the product development divisions of retail corporations.
