PCLA Application / Registration
To be licensed as a principal in Ohio requires a minimum of 45 hours of course work (typically two years for the masters and an additional year of course work). Students interested in earning a Masters through a PCLA Cohort should review the the Masters degree (Educational administration and Supervision) application requirements and process.
For students interested in principal licensure who already have a Masters degree, students should review the Specialist degree (Educational Administration and Supervision) application requirements and process.
Pending your application in either degree program, you may complete up to 9 credit hours as a non-degree student To do requires the submission of a Graduate non-degree application (temporary form to get you started in program) Please note that the completion of a graduate non-degree application does not guarantee admission into one of our degree programs. ALL ADMISSIONS DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE THE END OF YOUR FIRST SEMESTER OF COURSEWORK! THE ADMISSIONS COMMITTEE WILL NOT TAKE ANY ACTION ON YOUR APPLICATION FILE UNTIL ALL ADMISSIONS MATERIALS ARE SUBMITTED!
