Candidates for the degree of Master in Education in Educational Administration and Supervision must complete a minimum of
33 semester hours of graduate coursework and experiences. At this time, the 33 semester hours must be distributed over the
following 3 credit hour courses:
EDAS 6210Introduction to Organizational Leadership and Change
EDAS 6220The Contemporary Principal in a Technological Society
EDAS 6230Law, Ethics and Negotiations in School Administration
EDAS 6240Fiscal Management and Resource Allocation
EDAS 6240School Culture, Instructional Program, & Professional Staff
Students are required to take and pass a comprehensive exam at the end of the Master in Education program. Students should
fill out this application in the first week of their last semester of coursework
Students pursuing licensure as an administrator in Ohio will be expected to complete 12 additional semester hours to meet
ODE licensure requirements. The four additional 3 credit hour courses are:
