Dr. Johnson earned his Bachelors in Education form Ohio State University in 1973, his Masters in School Psychology from Bowling Green State University in 1976 and his Ph.D. in Educational Administration from Bowling Green State University in 1982.

He has served as a teacher, school psychologist, regional special education center director, principal, curriculum and technology director, assistant superintendent and superintendent.
