Education
Dr. Jackson May earned her Bachelor's
Degree in Communication Disorders from BGSU in 1983,
her Masters at Cleveland State University in Curriculum
and Instruction in 1991 and her Ph.D. from BGSU in Educational
Administration and Supervision in 1997. She has served
as a Multiple Handicap Teacher for Sandusky County,
Cleveland Heights, and Hilfiker Elementary Gibsonburg
Exempted Village; Principal for Toledo Public Schools;
Principal for Bowling Green Public Schools; and Director
of Elementary Curriculum for Bowling Green City Schools.
Dr. Jackson May has numerous refereed journal publications,
papers, keynote, and presentations in her area of research
interest which incorporates issues impacting the urban
school environment.
