Co-Director, Rachel Vannatta Reinhart, Ph.D. has been Professor of Assessment, Research, and Statistics at BGSU for over 15 years. Prior to Academia, she taught junior high and high school math and English. She has over thirty research publications on educational initiatives and topics, including technology integration in education, survey development, and program evaluation.
Co-Director, Toni Sondergeld, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor in Assessment, Research, and Statistics. She has K-12 teaching experience in middle school science. Her research has generated numerous publications that focus on assessment and evaluation methods as well as the evaluation of urban school reform and science/STEM education. She has vast psychometric experience in developing high stakes tests in the education and medical fields
Grant Specialist, Stacey Rychener, Ph.D., has been the lead evaluator on two federal Safe Schools Healthy Students evaluations that encompassed school safety and security, mental health, alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use, after-school programming and early childhood programs. She has also evaluated more than 50 grants and contracts in her 12 years with CAES as well as help schools and human service agencies write grants.
Grants Coordinator, Kandy Current, has administered numerous local, state and federal grants with her background in accounting and computer programming. In the past 11 years, she has coordinated grants within education, mental health and human services.
