Thomas A. Orchard

A 1975 graduate of BGSU with a bachelor of arts in Business Administration, Tom subsequently embarked on a career in the securities industry, and his untiring drive and energy has greatly contributed to his success in the field. A licensed New York Stock Exchange supervisor and NYSE Registered Representative, Tom is also a Chicago Board of Options Exchange Registered Options Principal and Chicago Board of Trade Associated Person. Today he serves as Senior Vice President of Investments and Senior Portfolio Manager for UBS Wealth Management, a division of UBS AG, and is committed to expanding financial literacy.

In addition to his outstanding career in the world of finance, Tom is a tireless supporter and proponent of student-centered programs throughout Bowling Green State University. He is a member of the College of Arts & Sciences Advocates, the Dean’s Council, the BGSU President’s Club, is Chair-elect of the BGSU Foundation and a member of the National Steering Committee for the current BGSU Comprehensive Campaign. He has further contributed his time and talents through his work with the Columbus Foundation and the Greater Columbus Area Salvation Army.

A Lima native, Tom, his wife, Marcy – herself a 1973 BGSU graduate – and their daughter, Kiley, reside in Westerville.
