DIMENSIONS ON LINE ARTICLES 9/2007
Dear Alumni and Friends,
It's hard to believe, but summer is coming to an end and the 2007-08 academic year is already underway. The class of 2011 moved onto campus August 16, and its members are now beginning their fourth week of classes. As we begin another academic year, I wanted to share with you some of the exciting things that have occurred in the College during the past few months. The accomplishments of our students and faculty continue to impress me, innovative programs like BG Experience continue to gain national attention, and our alumni and friends continue to be supportive of our students and programs in truly extraordinary ways. I additionally invite you to read my recent Opening Day remarks, addressing our College's achievements as well as some of the challenges we face, located at http://www.bgsu.edu/colleges/as/page23512.html.
I hope you enjoy this update from the College and that you return to campus in the near future to experience some of the exciting things that are making BGSU a premier learning community. Remember, Homecoming 2007 is Saturday, September 29. I hope you are able to return to campus for the weekend. If you do, be sure to stop by the Arts & Sciences tent outside Doyt Perry Stadium, join us for refreshments, and say hello.
Best wishes,

Donald G. Nieman
