The facilities at Global Village are some of the most unique in the campus residence halls. Our unit has three floors. The
classroom, lounges, conference room, kitchen, and office are all located on the first floor. Dorm rooms are on the second
and third floors, as are laundry facilities. There is also a small computer lab on the second floor.
African Lounge
This year, the African Lounge has remained a quiet study space for most of the week. However, we use the lounge for programs
such as our weekly “Current Events, Tea, and Cookies with Global Village Directors.” Student groups such as the International
Careers Network also use this space for meetings.

Classroom
The Classroom hosts Global Village classes, programs, and meetings of student groups such as the World Student Association.
When not in use for these more formal occasions, some students use this as a quiet study space. Although not pictured, doors
at the rear of the classroom open up into an industrial size kitchen, equipped with basic cooking supplies.

Conference Room
Small groups and senior seminars use the Conference Room as a meeting space. Feel free to browse our book collection, which
is temporarily on loan from Dr. Kristie Foell. If you step in at the right time, you might hear Anahit, our Armenian resident,
playing the brand new keyboard!

Dorm Rooms
Global Village dorm rooms are set up as standard doubles. Have fun rearranging furniture and decorating the room to make it
yours!
Pictures are coming soon!
Computer Lab
Our small Computer Lab comes supplied with two PC’s, one MAC, one scanner, and one printer.

Office
Come on in to say hello to the Global Village staff members!
