Stephanie Rozene M.F.A.- ART 101R
Stephanie Anne Rozene is a potter who teaches in the Ceramics Department in the School of Art at Bowling Green State University
in Bowling Green, Ohio. She holds an M.F.A in ceramics and craft history from NSCAD University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
and a B.F.A from Alfred University in Alfred, New York. She has shown work nationally and internationally, most recently in
the 2nd Biennial Concordia Continental Ceramics Competition, at Concordia University in St. Paul, Minnesota and Fabulous Finishes
at Gloria Kennedy Gallery in Brooklyn, New York. She is dedicated to the advancement and development of the field of Craft
History and Theory and in particular the use of historical ornament as a visual language.
Project: Family House
Students participating in this group will have an opportunity to take part in volunteer work with Family House, a homeless
shelter in Toledo that is led by Gordon Ricketts. Through this group students will have the chance to go to Family house and
make art with the children and adults who are staying there.
