Chapman Community @ Kohl

Join us today!  We are open to any major or those undecided and accept first-year students on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no time-consuming application forms to fill out. Simply complete these steps to join the community. Remember, Kohl Hall is a learning community hall and is reserved for students in a learning community!

1. Go to www.bgsu.edu/housing and click on the Residential Learning Communities menu tab

2. Find Chapman @ Kohl among the photos of the different communities on that page; click on the photo of Chapman @ Kohl

3. This will bring you to the Chapman Community enroll page; scroll down and click on the arrow marked “Enroll Now”

4. Login to your MyBGSU account

5. Find the Learning Community enroll option under My Room and Meals

6. Follow the prompts to enroll in the community for the proper academic year

7. You’ll receive a confirmation email of your acceptance

You will also need to set your housing preference to Kohl Hall as your #1 hall choice and fill out the roommate survey and set your roommate preference if you have one.  (See the FAQ section on this website and the Residence Life page for more info about roommates). Your initial housing deposit will need to be paid before you can specify your choice of residence hall.
