Q. I have applied and been accepted to BGSU in the past but never attended. Do I need to reapply?
A. If it has been less than one year since you applied call the Office of Admissions (419-372-BGSU) to reprocess your application. If it has been longer than one year, you will need to reapply.

Q. Could you please send me information regarding financial aid?
A. There is a lot of information available for review on the BGSU financial aid website: http://www.bgsu.edu/offices/sfa/ .

Q. Can I pick any degree and take it all online?
A. The only degree at this time that is available online via the College of Arts & Sciences is the Bachelor of Liberal Studies (BLS) Degree program. For information about other BGSU degrees available in the online format, please visit the IDEAL website: http://ideal.bgsu.edu/ONLINE/ .

Q. I understand that I will not have a major or minor if I pursue a BLS degree; however, can I have a concentration in one area?
A. Yes. You may take up to 27 semester hours in one discipline within the College of Arts & Science.

Q. How many hours can I take in Business towards my BLS degree?
A. All hours taken in the College of Business Administration are considered to be outside the College of Arts & Sciences. You are allowed to take 22 semester hours of courses outside of the College.

Q. Would students pursuing a BLS degree online pay the same fees, etc., as a student studying for a BLS degree on-campus?
A. Yes.

Q. If I am pursuing an online BLS degree, but live outside Ohio, will I be charged out-of-state fees?
A. Students taking all online courses who live out-of-state can apply for an out-of-state fee waiver from the Distance Learning Department in Continuing and Extended Education at 419-372-6792.
