"The Arts Village has truly helped me get acclimated to life at BGSU. I firmly believe that my life at BG would have been
completely different without the Arts Village and I'm glad I got to experience all that the Arts Village has to offer. One
of my favorite things about the AV is everyone is so accepting of each other and you gain a solid base of friends in a school
of 20,000 which helps you transition to the college life. I've loved every minute of the AV. "

"The Arts Village is my favorite thing about BG. I've been a part of other organizations and learning communities before but
none of them felt so much like a family (in a good way). It's great to be able to live and work with so many people who are
all so different- in religion, in majors, in lifestyles- and yet just about everybody cares about each other and what we do
here. I love being able to learn about and participate in things I wouldn't have the chance to anywhere else- like being part
of a Japanese drumming group, making plaster casts of people, and listening to world class performers. You can't go wrong
by getting involved."

"I live about nine hours away from Bowling Green, and I was horrified about being so far away from my family. The Arts Village
was a home-away-from-home, where I was put amongst passionate people that all shared my love for the arts and creative expression.
Joining the Arts Village is one of the best decisions I've made in my life, and I wish I could stay there past my four years
I'll be spending here in the university! The people are amazing; the programs are educational, fun, popular, and ever-changing;
the faculty is more than willing to bend over backwards for every student to make their college experience the best it can
be. The Arts Village's continued dedication to the arts, student life, and student happiness makes it the most vibrant place
to be on campus-- and my favorite place to be, nine hours away from home. "

"The Arts Village is really what brought me on campus. I met every single friend I have there. Not only is the Arts Village
a great place to live, but to expand horizons, get to know people you never thought you'd get to meet, and experience once-in-a-lifetime
opportunities that are far greater than monitary wealth. I love the Arts Village, and I'm so glad I joined."

"As I look back at my life and realize that four years ago I would have never have imagined I would be where, or who, I am
today. The Arts Village made me who I am a well rounded, worldly educated and mature man. I gained a plethora of friends to
lean on when times got rough and to help me grow through my daily life. My artwork also has excelled from average to exceptional
thanks in majority to the unimaginable number of extraordinary life opportunities I have been privileged to. Through the Arts
Village I have traveled to Ghana, Africa, Peru, South America and the far reaches of America to the Navajo Nation. Thanks
to these learning opportunities my life has shifted farther than I ever could have imagined."
