Derrick A. Jones : Assistant Director of the Arts Village

Derrick's Statement on the Art's Village:

I look forward to working with a community of artists who seek to go beyond the classroom in order to maximize their life experiences. 

Derrick's Biography:

Derrick A. Jones, Assistant Director / Arts Village, 2009 to present

Derrick (aka D Jones) was born and raised in Youngstown, OH and is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a BAC and MA in Theatre and a member of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Incorporated. His experiences in the arts are quite diverse having worked in theater, film and hip hop music for many years as well as publishing four books of poetry. After serving as the Hall Director for Rodgers from 2004-2006, Derrick left BGSU to pursue a Master of FIne Arts in Film from Ohio University.
