Department of Public & Allied Health

The Department of Public and Allied Health has three major programs listed below. The Applied Health Science program also offers six specializations including: Health Science, Allied Health, Applied Microbiology, Public Health, Health Care Administration, and Respiratory Care. Applied Health Science

Health Science(preparation for physical therapy, occupational therapy, medical school, physician assistant, etc.)

Allied Health

(for students who have completed an associate's degree in an allied health profession like radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, dental hygiene, etc.)

Applied Microbiology

(for students interested in a career in microbiology or biotechnology)

Health Care Administration

(for students who are looking for a career in the management arena)
